Biceps Electrode Placement

electrode placement for biceps

bicep pad placement
A stimulation lead wire consists of 2 electrodes:
- a positive electrode: red connection
- a negative electrode : black connection

Follow the pictogram and video to properly position the pads. For the best results, keep to the size of electrode shown in the video/photos/pictograms: large and small. Unless you have other specific medical instruction, always follow the placement directions in the photos. DJO Global, Inc. disclaims all responsibility for electrodes positioned in any other manner.

Position yourself comfortably in the position shown in the pictogram (working position). This position allows the muscle to be isometrically trained and in a stretched position. If positioned so the relaxed muscle is shortened, the contraction gives a cramping sensation and leads to undue soreness or stiffness after the session. So as to work comfortably and safely, keep your limbs in a still position (fix your hands and feet to one spot or against an immovable object). In this way you provide maximum resistance to movement and you will stop the muscle from tightening during the contraction.
